Anzanga Marimba Ensemble: July 22nd @ 7pm

For over 30 years, Anzanga has brought the electrifying energizing music of African marimba to weddings, schools, festivals, culture events and now, to BPA’s own front yard.

Anzanga, which means “to our friends” draws its name and music from the rich cultural heritage of Africa. Their repertoire is drawn primarily from Zimbabwe influences from Mozambique, South Africa and Gambia, in addition to playing compositions of their own. It’s in their vibrant music, that they entertain, enlighten, and inspire all who hear them!

Come enjoy a little sun, a little dancing, and a whole lot of joy.

No tickets or reservations required, so be sure to arrive early to claim your socially-distanced patch of grass as space is limited and on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please bring a blanket or chairs; a limited number of folding chairs will be available for those who need special assistance. Events will take place outdoors on the grass and patio area directly in front of the entrance to BPA at 200 Madison Ave N.

Grab a bite to-go from one of Winslow’s fantastic restaurants or pack a picnic for a little outdoor dinner theatre - sorry, no alcohol permitted on site.

LIVE ON THE LAWN! is presented free of charge with the support of patrons like you.
