BPA Gallery First Friday Art Walk: “ABSTRACTION: Give Photo Realism a Rest”

Exhibit Continues Throughout May at Bainbridge Performing Arts (BPA)
Join us in the BPA Gallery May 3 for an artist reception and an enjoyable evening of art and friends. Rob Wagoner comes from a 40-year career as an architect focusing on the design of public buildings. In his passion for photography, it has become important for him to see things from a different vantage, to create an alternate meaning and blur the lines of reality (abstract them) in his images. The works featured in this exhibit chart the outcome of his creative journey. Using light, texture, contrast, scale, cropping, and point of view, Rob seeks to stretch the observer’s perspective, and he hopes his images will inspire viewers to see the world in a somewhat different light.
The BPA Gallery showcases regional artists in monthly rotating exhibits in the C. Keith Birkenfeld Lobby and regularly participates in the First Friday Art Walk from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Gallery hours are 12:00 – 4:00 p.m. Tuesday – Friday plus one hour prior to each performance.
